Tailored CVs
An ATS-friendly CV for one posting, built from your own facts, editable, and checked by reading its text back out.
Last updated 31 October 2026
Open Tailored CV in an application's kit. The CV starts from your profile, so you can download a clean PDF without AI.
Tailor with AI
Tailor to this job rewrites your headline, summary, skills and bullet points for this posting. On a local model this can take a few minutes, so keep the page open.
The AI only changes wording. RolePort copies your employers, job titles, dates, education and contact details from your profile itself. After tailoring you see:
- What changed, with the AI's notes.
- Warnings for skills or numbers that aren't in your profile or CV. Check each one, then keep or remove it.
- Asked for, but not in your profile: what the posting wants that you don't show. If you do have any of these, add them to your profile and tailor again.
Edit it
Everything is editable: your headline, summary, contact lines, skills and bullets. Employers, titles and dates come from your profile, so change those there. Start over from profile goes back to your profile, and Tailor again runs the AI again. Both replace your edits, so RolePort asks first.
The ATS check
Applicant tracking systems read the text in your PDF, so RolePort does the same. The check runs after every download, or press Check the PDF to run it without downloading. It shows which posting keywords your CV contains, and Show the text a parser sees shows exactly what a system reads.
Download
Choose A4 or Letter (short bond), then download the PDF.
Change how it's written
The full prompt is in Settings → CV tailoring prompt, and the page shows exactly what was sent to your AI. See Customizing the prompts.
