The Interview Coach needs an AI provider and a filled-in profile, because the interviewer asks about your real experience.

What are you practising for?
- A job I applied to: uses the posting and the CV, letter and answers you sent.
- Any job title: add a target role, and a job description if you have one.
- Ad-hoc job posting: paste the posting to get questions about its requirements.
Focus
| Focus | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Recruiter screen | Tell me about yourself, why this role, salary and availability |
| Behavioral | Past situations told as stories, probed for your part and the result |
| Role-specific | Knowledge and judgement for this job title |
| Job posting | A full round built from a posting's requirements |
Length: a Quick drill is 3 questions, about 10 minutes. A Full round is 6 questions, 30 to 40 minutes.
Interviewer style
| Style | How they behave | Follow-ups per question |
|---|---|---|
| Friendly | Warm and encouraging, a good first run | 1 |
| Standard | A typical professional interviewer | 2 |
| Tough | Presses for numbers, trade-offs and what you did yourself | 2 |
| Interviewer from Hell | Skeptical and blunt, never abusive | 3 |
The report grades every style on the same rubric. You can also choose a two-person panel, with interviewers taking turns.
The briefing
Before you start, Write my briefing prepares you for the interview: what the role needs, your story bank, where you might be pressed, and questions to ask them.
During the interview
Questions come one at a time. Vague answers get a follow-up, up to the style's limit, so every interview ends. There are no scores until the end. You can type or answer out loud.
Your report
- Rubric scores for each answer, out of 4, with what the interviewer listened for.
- A summary and a practice verdict.
- Consistency flags when what you said doesn't match what you sent. Each quotes both sides, and RolePort checks the quotes are real.
- A stronger answer for each question, in your voice.
- A cheat sheet to rehearse from.
- Delivery notes if you spoke: your pace, filler words and longest answer.
Improve over time
- Redo this question to answer again and compare the score.
- Your progress on the Coach page shows your average score per interview.
- Drill these builds a new interview around your lowest-scoring topics.
