Cover letters

A letter written for one posting from your profile, or by you, ready to copy into a form or download as a PDF.

Open Cover letter in an application's kit. Write it yourself, or click Write my cover letter to have AI draft it from your profile and the posting.

What the draft includes

The AI writes 3 or 4 short paragraphs, 250 to 350 words in total, from your strongest matches. RolePort adds your name, contact details, the date and the employer's address around it.

RolePort then flags numbers it can't find in your profile or CV, leftover placeholders and clichés. Read each warning before you send the letter.

Edit it

Edit the greeting, body, closing, your name and location, and the To lines. Separate paragraphs with a blank line. Write a new draft replaces the letter, so RolePort asks first.

Use it

Copy text pastes it into an application form as it is.
Download makes a PDF, in A4 or Letter (short bond).

Change the tone, length or structure in Settings → Cover letter prompt. See Customizing the prompts.
